Sunshine Coppock, RN, BSN

Sunshine Coppock brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Howarth Plastic Surgery. Born and raised in Texas, Sunshine began her nursing career after earning degrees from both the University of Oklahoma and the University of Texas Medical Branch. In 1998, she embarked on her journey into the aesthetics industry, playing a pivotal role in establishing a world-renowned laser and skincare clinic.

Sunshine spent six years managing the laser department at one of the nation’s top plastic surgery clinics. The practice served as a training site for leading laser manufacturers, where Sunshine trained staff, helped develop advanced treatment protocols, and introduced new laser technologies. Her team was among the first in the country to adopt innovations such as the Nd:YAG 1064nm laser for safer hair removal on all skin types and to participate in FDA studies on emerging laser technologies.

With an impressive skill set that includes operating 22 different lasers, Sunshine has also developed cutting-edge treatment protocols and provided exceptional care to surgical patients pre- and post-operation as a Clinical RN. Her expertise ensures that every patient receives customized, results-driven care in a safe and supportive environment.

Sunshine has extensive experience with Sciton’s industry-leading lasers, including the mJOULE and JOULEX platforms. These versatile systems provide advanced treatments such as BBL HERO, MOXI, and HALO, which target a variety of skin concerns with precision and minimal downtime. Sunshine’s mastery of these technologies allows her to deliver transformative results, helping patients achieve smoother, more radiant skin.

Outside of her professional life, Sunshine has been happily married for 20 years. She and her husband are the proud parents of two children, ages 14 and 17. Her household also includes a lively assortment of three dogs and a horse. An adventurer at heart, Sunshine is passionate about hiking, traveling, and aviation—she has even completed enough pilot training to fly solo.
